Join our Imagination Station this Fall!
The Well is starting a program this fall in Penn Yan designed to enhance your toddlers learning experience! 🌟🖍️
Imagination Station is tailored for your 3-5-year-olds and packed with:
creative play
sensory development
problem solving skills
fine and gross motor development
social and emotional development
story time adventures!
This fun, new program was created by Miss Amber!
Miss Amber is a multiple award-winning educator with over two decades of professional experience as a teacher and program developer that works as an advocate for authentic and experiential learning. With an MS and BS in Education, holding a concentration in Special Education, she has worked with children of all ages and is known for her unique methodology for reaching children with special requirements. Amber is the founder of Local Shark Nerd, and consults for school districts, museums, libraries, and non-profit communities to foster and facilitate enriching educational programs for the developmental awareness of children. She believes it takes a community and fair access to help grow a successful future.
There are only 15 spots available for this inaugural fall session, so be sure to sign up on September 19th or 26th from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (224 Main St. Penn Yan, NY). Amber will be at each sign-up session to answer questions, meet your tiny explorer, and share more about the vision and design of the program.

October 17 Activities: Apple stamping, Apple washing, Apple play dough, Apple pie in cups
October 24 Activities: Pumpkin moon sand, Leaf cutting, pumpkin clementines
October 31 Activities: Pumpkin rice, Icy water spiders, witch cauldrons, mummy hotdogs
A few other notes about the Imagination Station:
There is a limit of 15 children, so sign up at the in-person events on September 19th and 26th at the First Baptist Church from 9:30-11:30am
A caregiver MUST attend each session with the child
Children who turn 3 years old before December 2023 are welcome to sign up
Consider bringing a paint shirt for each session to protect your child’s clothes
If you’re interested in supporting this program, please check out our list of needed craft supplies that can be donated 9-3pm Monday through Friday.

Package of assorted colors of tissue paper
Two packages of white paper plates (any amount)
Assorted colored chalk, any amount
Assortment of Crayola Crayons (can be used), or 10 boxes of 24
10-12 black permanent markers
Assortment of colored markers, any kind or size
Package of regular pencils
4 boxes of sandwich ziplock bags
Assortment of packaged google eyes
4-5 packages of assorted colors of pipe cleaners
5 hand held hole punchers
Kinetic Sand (any color, big bags preferred)
10 containers of play dough (any color)
