A Letter About Health Insurance
I help individuals and families get quality health care coverage they can afford through the New York State of Health marketplace.
Hi supporters of The Well,
It’s Courtaney Patterson and I’m here to talk about my happy place also known as The Living Well!
For almost 10 years, I have been associated with The Living Well. I started after the 2014 flood as a caseworker helping members of the community in emergency situations. After three years I transitioned to a Health Benefits Representative with Fidelis Care where I have been for almost seven years.
This means I help individuals and families get quality health care coverage they can afford through the New York State of Health marketplace. Coverage like Managed Medicaid, The Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, and many other Quality Health Plans are my area of expertise.
Sadly, many times, people qualify for free or low-cost insurance and don’t even know it. We think the only option we have is employer sponsored coverage that, many times, can be too expensive. But there are options for everyone, no matter your family size or income.
Having health insurance is so important! Too often I see people and families go without health insurance because the cost and benefits don’t meet their needs, they don’t know they have other options, and it is all just too confusing to navigate.
Luckily, I am here to help answer any questions you may have or help you through the process of applying with an easy in-person meeting or over the phone conversation.
You can find me at The Living Well, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30am - 1:30pm and can contact me by phone during business hours at 315-558-7902.
My goal is to make sure everyone in the Yates County community has the health coverage they need, can afford, and are happy with.
Take Care,
Courtaney
